At an early age I enjoyed playing on my tricycle.
We lived about 3 miles out of Colchester town centre, on the Ipswich Road,
and I went to St. John’s primary school, which was just across the road from our house.
At the side of the house was a swing, which played an important part in our games. My best friend, John Pettitt, is behind me on the swing.
