Bahá’í Pilgrimage – a personal perspective.

Day 7, Sunday:

Our second coach trip to Bahji was mainly to visit the many rooms in the Mansion, where Bahá’u’lláh spent His last 13 years, but we were also allowed in the Shrine of Bahá’u’lláh again and in the room of the pilgrim house used by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá.

On the way back we stopped at the house of Abdulláh Páshá, in which ‘Abdu’l-Bahá lived for about 13 years before moving to Haifa. After having our packed lunch in a large downstairs room, we visited a lot of other rooms in the two parts of the house and from an upstairs window could see Bahá’u’lláh’s prison cell.

The final stop was at the Ridván garden, on a small island in the middle of a river to the East of Akká, where we were provided with oranges to eat.

In the evening we had the usual talk by Mr.Furutan, then a 3rd member of the Universal House of Justice came, not to give a talk, but to answer our questions.
