Pilgrimage – a personal perspective.
My 9 day pilgrimage was from 15-10-01 to 23-10-01.
I stayed at the Rutenberg Guest House, having breakfast at the Rutenberg
Institute, where the staff are very friendly
and accommodating; a frequent bus service runs to the pilgrim reception centre,
or the energetic can walk it in about 25 minutes. |

Up to 150 pilgrims can now be
accommodated in the new pilgrim reception centre, although there were only 101
while I was there, divided into 4 groups. Nevertheless
I met pilgrims and visitors from 19 different countries: Alaska, Australia,
Canada, Czech Republic, Fiji, Germany, Ghana, Holland, Hong Kong, India,
Ireland, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, Ukraine
& USA. |
